These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access the website or engage our services. Swift Alameda Tree Care reserves the right to update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
Swift Alameda Tree Care provides residential and commercial tree services in Alameda, CA and surrounding communities, including tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding, stump removal, land clearing, emergency tree service, and commercial tree service.
All services are subject to a written estimate and agreement prior to work beginning. We reserve the right to decline any service request that presents safety concerns or falls outside our service area or scope of operations.
All estimates provided by Swift Alameda Tree Care are based on conditions observed during an on-site assessment. An estimate is not a guaranteed final price. If conditions differ from what was assessed - including discovery of hidden decay, root damage, underground utilities, or access difficulties - pricing may be adjusted. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written, signed estimates constitute an agreement for service.
Free estimates are offered as a courtesy and do not create any obligation for either party to proceed with service.
Appointments are scheduled based on crew availability. We will make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled appointment windows, but circumstances beyond our control - including weather, equipment issues, or prior job delays - may require rescheduling. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a change is needed.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee. Emergency service calls are subject to separate scheduling terms based on availability.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing prior to the start of work. We accept payment by the methods communicated at the time of estimate. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee.
For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Deposit amounts and terms will be stated in the written estimate. Deposits are generally non-refundable if work is cancelled after materials have been ordered or significant scheduling arrangements have been made.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property, including the location of underground utilities, irrigation systems, septic tanks, buried lines, and other features that could affect the safety or scope of work. Swift Alameda Tree Care is not liable for damage to underground features that were not disclosed prior to the start of work.
You are also responsible for obtaining any permits required by local authorities before work begins, unless a written agreement states that Swift Alameda Tree Care will handle permit applications on your behalf.
Swift Alameda Tree Care stands behind the quality of its workmanship. If you have a concern about completed work, contact us within 7 days of the service date and we will assess the issue and work with you to resolve it.
This workmanship guarantee does not cover damage caused by weather events, natural tree behavior, conditions not visible at the time of service, or issues arising from features of your property that were not disclosed. It does not extend to the health or survival of trees that remain on your property after service is completed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swift Alameda Tree Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website. Our total liability for any claim arising out of a specific service engagement shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that engagement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
